We check the four things that have to line up for BIMI: the record, an enforced DMARC policy, a logo in the SVG Tiny PS format, and a mark certificate covering your domain.
01 What BIMI needs
BIMI (Brand Indicators for Message Identification) lets supporting inboxes show your logo beside your messages. It's all-or-nothing: miss one piece and no logo appears.
A TXT record at default._bimi.yourdomain with v=BIMI1, the logo URL in l= and the certificate URL in a=.
p=quarantine or p=reject, applied to all mail (pct=100 or no pct tag), and no sp=none. Logos are only shown on mail that is provably yours, so monitoring-only DMARC doesn't qualify.
A square SVG in the restricted Tiny PS profile, served over HTTPS: a title, no scripts, no external references, no raster images.
Gmail and Apple Mail require a Verified Mark Certificate (for a registered trademark) or a Common Mark Certificate, issued by an approved certificate authority.
