What's the difference between a mailbox and an alias?+
A mailbox is one real inbox with its own address and login — a person. An alias is an extra address (hello@, support@, press@) that delivers into a mailbox. Aliases are unlimited and free on every domain and every plan; you only pay for actual people.
Which DNS providers get true one-click setup?+
One-click (we write the records for you via API) covers Cloudflare, DigitalOcean, Linode, Vultr, Hetzner DNS, Spaceship. Everywhere else you get a guided copy-paste panel with a deep-link into your DNS settings. Provider tokens are used once and never stored.
Where do the DNS records come from?+
From the mail server's own zone, not a template we hope matches. That's why they can be verified live before you send — an unverified domain never ships mail, which protects your reputation from day one.
How many domains can I connect?+
Pro connects up to 3 domains; Business is unlimited. Each domain is globally unique to one workspace, so if a domain was already set up elsewhere you'll need to free it from that workspace first.
Do I need BIMI to get good deliverability?+
No. BIMI is purely the brand logo shown next to authenticated mail — it doesn't improve placement. It requires DMARC at enforcement (quarantine or reject) and usually a Verified Mark Certificate, so treat it as the last step after your authentication is solid, not the first.
