Email alias

An email alias is an extra address that delivers into an existing mailbox, such as hello@ or billing@ arriving in your own inbox.

An alias has no password or storage of its own. Mail to it lands in a real mailbox, and with send-as you can reply from the alias too. Aliases are the tidy way to publish role addresses without paying for another seat.

Compare a shared mailbox, which several people sign in to, and a catch-all, which accepts every address at the domain. In SuperMailOS, aliases are free and unlimited on every plan and domain.
