Also: the Android app, smarter Spam, Word and Excel previews, and imports that keep attachments.
This week, mail apps and your web inbox started staying in sync, AI agents can get inboxes of their own, and Undo Send arrived on the web. Imports and exports are also more reliable.
The big one
If you use Apple Mail, Outlook or another mail app alongside SuperMailOS, the two now keep each other up to date. Read or unread, stars and flags, and moves to Archive, Spam, Trash or your own folders carry over both ways within about a minute.
Emails you send from the web, the phone app or the API now also appear in your mail app's Sent folder. Nothing is deleted for good by the sync: deleting forever on the web moves the mail app's copy to Trash. Emails sent before this week won't appear there.
An AI agent can now have its own mailbox on your domain, owned by a named person on your team. Emails that need a person wait for your approval, every email it sends says it came from an AI, and suspicious mail is held back until someone releases it. Set it up under Workspace, Agents.
After you press Send, you get a short window to undo it. Send later lets you pick when an email goes out, and Waiting on others keeps track of conversations where you're expecting a reply.
The Android app is on Google Play. Every address is a tap apart, notifications let you act on mail straight away, and Undo Send and Send later work there too. Sign in by scanning a code from the web app.
Workspace owners and admins can now add a domain, see the DNS records it needs and check them through the API or a connected AI assistant. Each answer explains in plain words what's still missing. New webhooks tell your server when a domain is verified or stops being verified.
New conversations from outside senders that can't show the mail really came from them now start in Spam instead of your Inbox. If you move one back with Not spam, that sender's future mail stays out of Spam in that mailbox.
Picking a mailbox now shows mail to all of its aliases, and the From picker lists aliases under their mailbox. Shared inboxes get their own place outside All inboxes. A mailbox you add with Add to my inbox now counts as your own mail.
Word and Excel attachments now open in the viewer, with formatting, dates and currency shown as in the original. Conversations with files also show them under the snippet in your inbox list, so you can open one without opening the email.
Adding a seat or upgrading mid-month now shows the prorated amount before you confirm and is charged that day. Adding a seat always charges exactly one seat. Plan & billing now shows your next bill and why it differs from usual.
When a domain stops working entirely, our email now points to the likely cause, such as an expired registration or changed nameservers, instead of listing every record. When the domain works again, you get a short email saying so.
Last week's banner about replies going to a different address appeared too often on ordinary mail, so we removed it. Replies still go where the sender asked, and the message details still show that address.
Imported mail now keeps its attachments and inline images, and accented or non-English text comes through correctly. One damaged email no longer stops the whole file from importing; you're told how many couldn't be brought over.
Downloading everything from a large mailbox could leave out its newest mail. The .mbox download now includes every message, whatever the size.
When one recipient's server refused an email, others could be shown as not delivered too. Each recipient now shows their own result.
If something here doesn't work the way you expect, or you'd like something we haven't built, just reply. A real person on our team reads every reply.
